Some points you might want to know
Set Time Once receiving it, please set time to local time on computer to ensure recording file will be named after the date-time local
Record Slide the switch to ON, voice recorder light flashes for a few seconds and then recording starts, no light flashes during recording
Playback Turn off audio recorder, plug in headphones and turn on the recorder to playback, Also can play on computers. (no speaker in recorder)
Delete&Backup Connect to computer or phone to delete or copy the corresponding files to a local disk
Q1. Is there a voice activation function?
Yes, but by default the voice activation is turned off, you can turn it on as per the manual. Note: After voice activation is on, you need to turn on the recorder, and it will record in voice activation mode on this occasion (Change the value of VOR 0 to 1 or 2, not recommended higher)
Q2. Computer connection failure?
1. Turn off the audio recorder before connecting to the computer and place the it as flat as possible on the desktop 2. Change the computer to change the connection port and try again 3. Check if the USB DISK identifier appears on computer. Click “USB Disk Identifier” in the lower right corner of the desktop – [Open Devices and Printers] – [Devices] – right click [HS USB FlashDisk] – [Remove Device] and then connect to the computer
Q3. Failed to play on headphones?
Ensure a recording file is available and try increasing the volume; also press Previous/Next to find the recording file (no sound may be that the file you are playing is a silent file recorded when you accidentally turned on the recorder); short press M to toggle to ensure the file you are playing is your recording file rather than an MP3 file
Q4. Is there an indicator light?
Power on: purple light flashes once then red light flashes 3 times Switching off: purple light flashes once Recording: no indicator light flashes Charging: red light flashes when charging, blue light is always on when charging is complete (charging with USB Wall Charger, turn off recorder before charging) Recording while charging: no indicator light flashes
Q5: Why is the actual memory of a 32GB recorder only about 28GB?
Because the algorithm is different, the computer is according to 1024MB = 1GB, while memory manufacturers are producing memory according to 1000MB = 1GB
Q6: How to get clear recordings?
Place the recorder stably and avoid rubbing it against other objects, such as hands, clothing, etc Away from sources of noise (e.g. air conditioning, typing, scratching, rubbing or subtle noise that may be generated by running computers) Advice: Recording in quiet environment
